What you will be doing:

  • Taking full ownership of how the production lines perform, ensuring they run consistently and hit targets.
  • Leading the introduction of new machinery into the factory, from installation to proper embedding and operation.
  • Working closely with suppliers and internal teams to keep projects on track, aligning timelines, costs, and expectations.
  • Supporting the setup and launch of new equipment, ensuring it’s tested properly and handed over into production in a stable condition.
  • Driving performance once new lines are live, focusing on getting them up to speed quickly in terms of output, quality, and reliability.
  • Understanding downtime, identifying real causes, and implementing lasting fixes.
  • Identifying production bottlenecks and delivering improvements that noticeably enhance output.
  • Partnering with engineering to improve long-term reliability with proper plans.
  • Finding ways to make daily operations smoother, including changeovers, start-ups, or general flow.
  • Maintaining visibility on performance and project progress to identify what’s working and what needs attention.
  • Acting as the go-between for engineering, operations, and external partners to ensure alignment.
