You'll take ownership of key retail accounts, work closely with supply chain and production teams, and help identify opportunities to grow existing partnerships. You'll be responsible for managing key retail relationships while acting as the link between customers, supply chain and the wider business. Day to day, you'll be: Managing 1-2 major retail accounts Building strong relationships with retail buyers and category teams Working closely with supply chain colleagues to ensure customer programmes run smoothly Ensuring orders are received, processed and delivered accurately Communicating effectively with customers regarding supply, forecasts and availability Identifying opportunities to grow sales and strengthen customer relationships Attending customer meetings both virtually and in person Supporting retail account reviews and business development initiatives Monitoring customer performance and reacting quickly to challenges Working collaboratively with production and operational teams to deliver excellent service Maintaining a strong understanding of crop, supply and market conditions The role is predominantly Monday to Friday, with a shared weekend rota covering approximately one in three weekends. Weekend work is typically limited to a couple of hours on a Saturday and Sunday, ensuring orders are processed correctly and customers remain fully supported. Working hours are generally 8am to 5pm/6pm, although there's flexibility around this given the nature of the role and weekend cover requirements. What do I need? Experience managing UK retail accounts Fresh produce experience is essential Strong understanding of vegetable or produce supply chains Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities Confidence working cross-functionally with supply chain, production and commercial teams Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A proactive, energetic and ambitious approach Ability to build credibility with both customers and internal stakeholders You'll stand out if you've worked directly with major UK retailers and have a track record of developing customer relationships while delivering commercially successful outcomes.
