What's the job?
This is a relationship-driven sales role with a strong technical edge. You'll manage an existing portfolio of lawn care and turf customers while also identifying and developing new business opportunities across the UK. Rather than cold door knocking, the focus is on building long-term partnerships, offering tailored advice, and becoming a trusted expert within your customer base.
Day to day, you'll be:
- Managing and growing an existing portfolio of lawn care and turf customers
- Developing new business opportunities within the sector
- Providing technical advice and recommendations on turf care and plant health solutions
- Building long-term relationships with contractors, landscapers, and professionals
- Representing the business at trade events, demonstrations, and industry meetings
- Supporting wider business activity including product development and marketing initiatives
- Using CRM and reporting tools to manage pipeline and customer interactions
This is a home-based role with national travel, typically combining time on the road, working from home, and occasional time in the office.
What do I need?
- Background in lawn care, turf management, amenity horticulture, or similar
- Experience working with or selling into landscapers, contractors, or grounds teams
- Strong industry knowledge and a passion for turf health and sustainable practices
- Commercial awareness and a relationship-led approach to sales
- Self-motivated, organised, and proactive mindset
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
