Ready to lead a team that keeps Britain's feed with wholesome food. We're looking for an experienced Site Technical Manager to run a dual food manufacturing site. You'll be the go-to for food safety, quality, legality, and fresh produce standards across the site, leading a team of 5-10 direct reports and a wider operational crew of 20+.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the technical team to maintain and improve food safety, legality & quality in line with BRC, customer requirements, and UK legislation
- Monitoring, reporting, and tackling anything that compromises product safety or quality
- Managing HACCP and QMS systems
- Leading supplier & customer audits, plus staying ahead of legislative updates
- Mentoring your team, driving performance KPIs, and continuously improving processes
Who We're Looking For
- Experience in FMCG chilled food, ideally fresh produce
- Proven success in BRC & supermarket audits
- Track record of leading, developing, and mentoring teams
- Relevant Food Safety & HACCP qualifications
- Formal food science qualifications are a bonus
- Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills
