The Role
You will lead end‑to‑end international supply chain and logistics operations across multiple markets, owning performance, cost efficiency, and service delivery. This role blends strategic oversight with hands‑on operational leadership across a global distribution network, supporting continued international growth. A strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in the food or FMCG industry, particularly those familiar with temperature‑sensitive products, export compliance, and fast‑paced, high‑volume supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead international end‑to‑end supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination, efficiency, and KPI delivery across all markets.
- Own the international distributor P&L, driving cost control, budget adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage demand forecasting and supply planning for international markets, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
- Oversee outbound logistics from the central distributor to global markets, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, export documentation, labelling requirements, and Incoterms.
- Identify and optimise central warehousing and distribution partners to support international expansion.
- Improve logistics routes and distribution performance to enhance speed, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise partners, suppliers, freight forwarders, 3PL and 4PL providers, and other logistics stakeholders.
- Own and maintain the international supply chain operating manual and partner documentation.
- Provide expert guidance on export requirements and market‑specific regulatory compliance.
- Support the development of market‑specific product adaptations, including labelling, translation, and dietary compliance requirements.
Day‑to‑Day Focus
- Manage day‑to‑day relationships between central distribution and international franchise markets, leading operational and planning discussions.
- Coordinate with 3PL and 4PL partners to ensure smooth import/export flows and service delivery.
- Maintain and update the international product export list, communicating changes to global stakeholders.
- Work closely with food technical teams to ensure accurate product specifications and consistency across all markets.
- Act as escalation point for export documentation issues to ensure uninterrupted shipment flow.
