Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for robotics, automation, and seeing your work come to life on the factory floor? We're looking for a practical, skilled Installation & Workshop Engineer to join a leading team at the forefront of developing cutting-edge automated machinery for the food and fresh produce industry.\\n\\nBased out of Peterborough, you'll split your time between our HQ workshop and customer sites across the UK with opportunities to make a real impact in delivering complex automation systems that transform how food is processed and packaged.\\n\\nWhat You'll Be Doing\\n\\nAssembling and preparing automation systems in our well-equipped workshop\\nElectrical and mechanical installation on customer sites (some overnight stays required)\\nTesting, commissioning, and fault-finding on robotic and PLC-based systems\\nSupporting the project delivery team across the full installation lifecycle \\n\\nWhat We're Looking For\\n\\nSolid experience installing or supporting automated production equipment\\nStrong electrical and mechanical engineering skills\\nComfortable with PLC/control systems (e.g. Siemens, RS Logix)\\nPrevious exposure to food production environments is a big plus\\nAdaptable, deadline-driven, and confident working in varied settings \\n\\nKey Requirements\\n\\nNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering\\nECS card or demonstrable electrical competency\\nFull UK driving licence\\nCertifications like IPAF, PASMA, forklift or CompEx are advantageous \\n\\nWho You Are\\n\\nPositive, proactive, and cool under pressure\\nCommunicates clearly and respectfully, whether with colleagues or clients\\nTakes pride in customer satisfaction and on-time delivery\\nA true team player who supports others and values collaboration \\n\\nLocation\\n\\nYou'll be based out of our Peterborough facility, so you'll need to live within a reasonable commuting distance.
