We\’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Grower Team Leader to join one of the UK\’s leading ornamental plant growers. This is a hands-on leadership role where you\’ll guide a dedicated team, support crop production, and play a key part in ensuring plants thrive and reach customers in top condition.

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and motivating a team of growers and operatives to hit targets
  • Getting involved in planning and managing daily nursery operations
  • Monitoring crop health – spotting pests, diseases, and irrigation needs early
  • Supporting with plant protection programmes and stock movements
  • Assisting with customer orders, ensuring plants are picked, packed, and delivered to the highest standards
  • Keeping accurate records and ensuring smooth processes across the nursery

This is a role where no two days are the same, one moment you\’ll be crop walking, the next you\’ll be hands-on with stock movements, and then supporting the team to deliver orders on time.

What We\’re Looking For

  • Previous horticultural or nursery experience (ornamentals ideal, but not essential)
  • Strong leadership skills – you can inspire, motivate, and support a team
  • A keen eye for detail when it comes to plant health and quality
  • Organised and adaptable, with the ability to juggle priorities in a busy nursery environment
  • Knowledge of plant protection products (PA1/PA6 is an advantage, but training can be given)
  • Someone who enjoys working outdoors and getting stuck in alongside their team
