This is a key regional leadership role within a leading and rapidly growing garden centre group. The business is continuing to expand its reach and is now looking for an experienced Regional Manager to take ownership of its South East region.
This is a hands-on multi-site role, responsible for leading a number of established garden centres with experienced management teams already in place. The focus is on driving consistency, improving performance, and supporting strong operators to deliver at an even higher level.
You'll need to be comfortable operating in a commercially strong environment where sites are already trading well, but where there is still clear opportunity to optimise performance and continue raising standards across the region.
What you'll be doing:
- Full responsibility for performance across a multi-site region in the South East
- Leading and developing experienced Garden Centre Managers
- Driving consistent commercial performance across all sites
- Supporting trading performance, seasonal activity and category execution
- Ensuring strong operational standards across retail, plant and support functions
- Managing compliance across H&S, HR, audit and company processes
- Acting as key escalation point for operational and people issues
- Supporting recruitment, development and succession planning across the region
- Working closely with senior leadership on regional and group initiatives
