Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for data and systems? Do you have a knack for problem-solving and streamlining reporting processes? We’re looking for a Financial Planning & Systems Accountant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team, where you’ll play a key role in driving consistency, standardisation, and innovation across all pillars of the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the use of a major reporting system (such as Cognos) to ensure standardised product KPIs and improve data accuracy.
- Support cross-functional teams in the development of Grower Returns outputs, tailoring reports for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Grower Returns issues, including system errors and maintaining accurate master data.
- Support reconciliation of returns data and financials, developing insightful reports to monitor key metrics.
- Assist with automating financial processes, particularly around Grower Returns postings.
- Coordinate and support sales, profit forecasting, and budget preparation across all departments.
- Contribute to group reporting, including the introduction of new reporting timetables and system developments.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed, bringing your expertise and problem-solving abilities to the table.
Is this you?
- Part or fully qualified Accountant.
- Strong accounting background with a focus on data and systems.
- Proven experience with large-scale reporting systems (e.g., Cognos) and familiarity with Data Warehouses.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a talent for influencing at all levels.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a keen eye for detail.
