The Role We're working with an established business in the agricultural sector that's looking for a commercially minded Cereals & Pulses Product Manager to help shape the future of its crop portfolio. This is a varied role bringing together breeding, technical, production, sales and marketing teams to make sure varieties meet market needs and have a clear commercial purpose. You'll take the lead on portfolio strategy, helping the business decide which varieties to prioritise, how to position them and where the biggest opportunities lie. You'll use market insight, technical evidence and commercial performance to guide decisions and influence future product development. Working with breeding and technical teams to understand product performance and ensure claims are backed by evidence. Building relationships with growers, agronomists, distributors and end users to understand market needs. Working across teams to influence product decisions, manage risks and keep plans on track. Supporting forecasting and early-stage seed production planning. We're looking for someone who understands agriculture, enjoys looking at the bigger picture and can bring technical and commercial thinking together. Strong commercial awareness and an analytical approach. You'll work closely with teams across the business, influence product development and help ensure varieties are positioned to meet the needs of farmers, customers and end users. If you enjoy combining agricultural knowledge with commercial strategy and want a role where you can make a genuine difference, this could be well worth a conversation.
