Home-Based Role with Travel Across the UK

What Will You Be Doing?

  • You'll manage existing customers and develop new accounts across the UK.
  • Your goal is to maximise sales and long-term profitability through strong relationships, excellent customer service, and proactive market development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and suppliers, becoming their preferred partner.
  • Manage your own diary, maintaining regular customer contact via face-to-face visits, Teams calls, phone, and email.
  • Identify and attract new customers through market research and persistence.
  • Provide quotations, manage pricing, promote seasonal offers, and contribute to the company's growth strategy.
  • Work closely with the office team to ensure a smooth process from order to delivery.

What Do You Need?

  • Previous experience selling to commercial UK growers.
  • Knowledge of young plants is ideal, but experience in growing media, fertiliser, or other nursery supply products is also welcome.
  • Self-motivated and well-organised, capable of managing your own schedule and targets.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.
  • UK driving licence and ability to travel regularly, including occasional overnight stays.
