The Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Planned preventative maintenance across production equipment
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Responding to breakdowns in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Working on conveyors, motors, pumps, packaging equipment and automation systems
- Supporting production changeovers and shift handovers
- Improving reliability and reducing repeat failures
- Maintaining accurate engineering records
- Ensuring high standards of safety, quality and food compliance
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Engineering qualification
- Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or a fast-paced production environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience with automated machinery
- A practical, hands-on approach to engineering
- Ability to make decisions quickly under pressure
- HACCP knowledge desirable
- 17th/18th Edition beneficial but not essential
