About Our Client

Our client is a leading grower and packer of fresh produce, supplying major UK retailers. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Technical Manager to take responsibility for a key retail customer.

About the Role

As Technical Manager, you will take ownership of one of the company’s high-profile retailer accounts. This is a customer-facing role, where you will interact daily with both technical and commercial teams at the retailer. You’ll be involved in strategic planning, customer satisfaction, and driving product quality standards.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You’ll be an experienced Technical Manager with a background in fresh produce or the wider food industry.
  • You’ll have experience dealing with the top 5 retailers, have a strong eye for detail, excellent IT skills, and proven project management capabilities.
  • Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential.

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing Technical Manager role.
  • Background in fresh produce or food manufacturing.
  • Proven experience working with major UK retailers.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently.
