We're working with a specialist financial services business that has built an outstanding reputation within the UK agriculture and food sectors.
Following continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Regional Manager to help expand their corporate banking division.
This is an opportunity to join a small, high-performing team where you'll have genuine autonomy to develop relationships, win new business and influence the future direction of a growing specialist business.
Unlike many traditional banking environments, you'll have the flexibility to take a commercial approach to supporting clients, with the opportunity to work across a broad range of complex lending solutions.
The Role This is a relationship-led position focused on developing and managing a portfolio of larger agricultural and food businesses across the UK.
Typical clients may include: Large farming businesses and landed estates Food manufacturers and processors Packhouses and produce businesses Supply chain organisations Diversified rural enterprises You'll be responsible for originating new opportunities through your own professional network, building long-term relationships with senior decision makers and guiding lending opportunities from initial discussions through to completion.
No two weeks are the same.
You'll spend time visiting clients across the UK, working alongside professional advisers and collaborating with an experienced internal team to deliver tailored funding solutions.
Responsibilities Build and develop a portfolio of corporate clients across the agriculture and food sectors.
Generate new lending opportunities through networking and relationship building.
Develop trusted relationships with business owners, finance directors, accountants, land agents and professional advisers.
Structure and present complex lending proposals.
Analyse financial information and assess commercial risk.
Carry out ongoing portfolio reviews and monitor client performance.
Work collaboratively with credit and operational teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Represent the business at industry events and continue to strengthen its profile within the rural economy.
About You We're keen to speak with individuals who have experience within: Agricultural Banking Rural or Specialist Property Finance CFO Roles within the supply chain You'll ideally bring: Experience managing larger corporate lending relationships.
A strong understanding of agricultural, food or rural businesses.
The ability to assess complex financial information and present credit proposals.
Excellent commercial judgement and relationship-building skills.
Gravitas and confidence when dealing with senior stakeholders.
An existing professional network within the rural, agricultural or food sectors would be advantageous.
