Commercial Operations Coordinator | West Sussex | 38K | On-Site An established fresh produce business specialising in soft fruit is looking for the next person to join their ever-growing business! If you are looking for a new role and have experience in the industry that entails coordinating and monitoring stock levels, logistics, customer orders and liaising between different teams in a business, then this could be for you! About The Job Processing customer orders and sending them to the production team, communicating delivery updates to customers, and managing product specification changes Update demand forecasts and highlighting shortages / excess stock positions Analyse and report operational capacity vs. predicted demand and how customers and suppliers performed against the initial plan Support commercial and operational teams in making any necessary adjustments Monitoring stock levels, reporting waste, tracking deliveries and investigating discrepancies. Liaise with suppliers on availability and delivery schedules and track their performance in terms of quality issues, waste, OTIF, etc. Working hours are typically 8-5, though flexibility to work on weekends is required. The occasional earlier start to handle customer orders is to be expected, though these will be compensated with an earlier finish! The Ideal Candidate Has strong communication skills Can effectively organise their work to maximise output and efficiency Has a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel Is resilient - due to the fast-paced nature of the industry, you will be up against time constraints!
