We're recruiting Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers for a high-volume, 24/7 food manufacturing site in Deeside. This is a proper engineering environment. Fast paced, heavily automated, and absolutely unforgiving if you switch off. If you like solving problems under pressure and keeping production moving, you'll be busy from minute one.

You'll be joining a well invested FMCG site supplying major retail customers, with a strong engineering function and ongoing investment into reliability and equipment upgrades.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Planned preventative maintenance across production equipment
  • Fast response breakdown work under real production pressure
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding across complex machinery
  • Supporting production changeovers and shift handovers
  • Driving reliability and reducing repeat failures
  • Working closely with production to keep downtime under control
  • Keeping maintenance records tight and accurate
  • Making sure safety and food standards are never optional

What You Need to Bring

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering
  • FMCG or fast paced manufacturing experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding skills
  • Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, packaging or similar kit
  • A hands on, practical approach rather than theory heavy thinking
  • Ability to make decisions quickly when things go wrong
  • Understanding of food safety systems (HACCP) preferred
  • 17th Edition useful but not essential
