A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Manager to join a leading chilled food business and play a pivotal role in protecting product quality, driving standards and improving manufacturing performance.
We are looking for a chilled manufacturing specialist, someone who understands the pressures of a fast-paced production environment and knows how to balance food safety, technical compliance, operational efficiency and commercial demands. This is a hands-on role for a confident quality manager who enjoys being close to the factory floor, influencing teams, solving problems and making a measurable difference.
You will be responsible for:
- Championing quality, food safety and technical standards across the site
- Partnering with Operations to embed best practice and strengthen manufacturing processes
- Leading technical improvements that enhance consistency, efficiency and product quality
- Providing direction and support to the QA team, building capability and accountability
- Using data, audits and insight to identify risks and drive meaningful improvements
- Supporting customer, certification and site requirements within a demanding chilled environment
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven experience in a Quality/Technical role within chilled food manufacturing
- A strong understanding of factory operations and the realities of high-volume chilled production
- Confidence influencing Production teams and challenging processes when needed
