We’re working with a well-respected family-owned garden centre business in Manchester to find a Horticultural Manager for their 4,000 square foot, thriving plant area. If you love horticulture, have a creative flair, and experience with buying, then this position could be a great opportunity for you to join a great local business that likes to maintain its family feel.
You’d be running the Plant Area at their flagship site, managing a team of 6 and making sure that the plant stock is well‑maintained and looking fresh… and might find yourself taking a buying trip to sunny Italy from time to time! This site likes to go big at Christmas, so in winter you’ll find yourself immersed in their Santa’s grotto, selling Christmas trees, and having a level of flexibility to help in this busy period.
Main Responsibilities- Take autonomy of the plant area
