I am recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing branded food manufacturer, on a mission to change the way people eat through great tasting nutritious food. They're now looking for a Production Shift Manager to lead a nights shift team and help drive the next stage of their growth journey. What you'll be doing: Leading and developing Team Leaders and production colleagues to hit shift targets safely and efficiently Owning shift performance against KPIs - productivity, waste, service levels, plan attainment Championing food safety, GMP, and audit readiness across the shift Driving a strong health & safety culture, from safety walks to risk assessments Using Short Interval Control and root cause problem solving to keep production on track Building a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing Working cross-functionally with Planning, Warehouse and Technical teams to keep things moving Coaching, developing and building capability within your team What you'll bring: Proven Production Management experience, leading teams to deliver results A background in food manufacturing Experience managing productivity and performance on production lines A natural people-leader - someone who builds, motivates and develops teams IOSH certification (training provided if you don't already have it) Why join?
