I'm currently supporting a leading fresh food manufacturer supplying major national retailers, who are looking for a Maintenance / Mechanical Engineer to join their site engineering team.

What you'll be doing
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packing lines
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to minimise downtime
- Supporting PPM schedules and equipment reliability
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiativesWorking within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment to strict hygiene and safety standards
- Liaising with production teams to keep lines running efficiently
What you'll bring
- A recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification such as an apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent
- Proven maintenance experience within an FMCG, food or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with production machinery
- Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift pattern covering days and nights
- A proactive, hands-on and safety-first mindset
