We're recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a major food manufacturing operation in Wrexham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking for a strong salary, a genuine 4-on-4-off shift pattern, and a benefits package that goes well beyond the usual.
The role
Working as part of the engineering team, you'll play a key role in keeping a busy, high-volume manufacturing site running safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, and helping to improve the reliability and performance of production equipment. You'll work on a 4-on-4-off pattern, consisting of:
- 2 x day shifts: 7am-7pm
- 2 x night shifts: 7pm-7am
- 4 days off

We're looking for engineers who are confident working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and who can demonstrate strong multi-skilled maintenance experience. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
- Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG or similar production environment
- A proactive approach to preventative and reactive maintenance
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
- Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent practical experience
