Working within a collaborative technical team, you'll be responsible for supporting and developing quality management systems, maintaining product specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry and customer requirements.

- What you'll be doing
- As a Technical Services Co-Ordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying areas of non-compliance relating to food safety and quality standards and working with operational teams to implement corrective actions.
- Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of BRC accreditation through effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Co-ordinating and managing internal and third-party audits, ensuring compliance requirements are met and actions are effectively followed up.
- Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers regarding food safety, quality, and technical standards.
- Developing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate product specifications and technical documentation.
- Managing legionella compliance and associated monitoring activities.
- Overseeing contracts relating to workwear and chemical supply, reviewing performance and costs on an annual basis.
- Supporting the implementation and management of COSHH policies and procedures across the business.
- Managing responsibilities relating to Packaging Waste Regulations and maintaining compliance.
- Leading allergen risk assessments and supporting the implementation of allergen management procedures.
- Maintaining and developing HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP plans, ensuring controls remain effective and up to date.
- Reviewing packing and labelling activities to ensure compliance with technical, legal, and customer standards.
- Working closely with operational teams to identify improvement opportunities and drive best practice throughout the business.
What we're looking for

You'll be comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels and enjoy working in a fast-paced food production environment.
Ideally, you'll have
- A degree in a food-related discipline or relevant industry experience
- HACCP
- Food Safety
- Previous experience within a Technical, Quality, or Food Safety role
- A strong understanding of food safety legislation and quality management systems
- Experience working with BRC standards and audit processes
- Knowledge of HACCP principles, allergen management, COSHH, TACCP, and VACCP
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Strong communication skills and confidence influencing stakeholders
- A proactive and methodical approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
- Good IT skills and experience maintaining technical documentation and specifications
