Are you passionate about quality, product integrity, and making a real difference in the fresh produce industry? We are looking for a dynamic QC to join the Technical team, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, legality, and quality across their product range.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed incoming product assessments, delivering timely, accurate data to support decision-making.
  • Carry out positive release checks to ensure finished products meet customer specifications.
  • Perform internal audits, shelf life testing, and calibration of QA equipment.
  • Provide clear product guidance and support to production teams, promoting understanding of customer requirements.
  • Maintain efficient documentation and assist in ripening duties when required.
  • Deputise for other QA team members as needed, supporting flexibility and team coverage.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a QA / QC role within fresh produce is highly desirable - citrus, topfruit and berries in particular.
  • Strong understanding of customer specifications and product quality standards.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication, numeracy, and computer skills.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a "can-do" attitude.
  • A flexible team player, confident working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
