I am recruiting on behalf of a fast‑growing branded food manufacturer, on a mission to change the way people eat through great tasting nutritious food. They're now looking for a Production Shift Manager to lead a nights shift team and help drive the next stage of their growth journey.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and developing Team Leaders and production colleagues to hit shift targets safely and efficiently
- Owning shift performance against KPIs - productivity, waste, service levels, plan attainment
- Championing food safety, GMP, and audit readiness across the shift
- Driving a strong health & safety culture, from safety walks to risk assessments
- Using Short Interval Control and root cause problem solving to keep production on track
- Building a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
- Working cross-functionally with Planning, Warehouse and Technical teams to keep things moving
- Coaching, developing and building capability within your team
