If you can come up with a concept that fits with their business, they will invest in the required resources to build a new part of the factory and deliver your products to the customers.
This isn't just talk. They have a proven track record of doing exactly that. They spotted a gap in the market, developed a product, sold the concept to customers and built a processing unit to deliver it.
There will be some of the day-to-day account management and building relationships with the retail customers, but you can always be on the lookout for opportunities to build the account and develop new business.
