The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The role involves the management of rural estates primarily (but not exclusively) across the Wiltshire and West Berkshire region, providing high-level strategic management advice with direct client contact. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing day-to-day management, including supervision of Estate employees and dealing with external professionals and other advisors.
- Providing general professional advice on a variety of topics including Landlord and Tenant matters, the preparation of agri-environmental schemes, and residential management and compliance.
- Undertaking valuations for a range of assets including farms, woodland, country houses, and landed estates.
- Working with the Partners to expand the business by identifying new business opportunities across the Rural sector.
- Participation in the ongoing development and implementation of an effective profit centre business plan.
What will it take to be successful? You will be a RICS chartered surveyor with substantial post-qualification experience gained within a rural surveyor role. You will have prior experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders and a good working knowledge of all relevant legislation, including knowledge of landlord and tenant matters encompassing agricultural holdings, farm business, tenancy, and housing. The successful candidate will be confident, technically competent, numerate, and have excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Additionally, you will have experience of delivering and managing multiple projects, be competent with MS Office, and hold a full UK driving licence.
