We're expanding our Field Services team and looking for a Field Services Operative to support the inspection, maintenance and monitoring of cross‑country utility assets. You'll be working outdoors, travelling across operational areas, and helping to keep essential national infrastructure safe and compliant. Our clients span water, gas, electricity, fibre optics and oil, so the work is varied, hands‑on and always interesting.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting routine maintenance to ensure pipelines and assets are clearly marked, recorded and maintained
- Assisting senior team members with day‑to‑day tasks in line with strict Health & Safety requirements
- Completing required training and working safely across highways and rural environments
- Carrying out visual inspections and reporting potential issues
- Accurately completing documentation and supporting statutory reporting
- Working alongside technicians, land agents, surveyors and contractors
- Providing general on‑site support across a wide client portfolio
- Helping monitor third‑party contractors to ensure compliance with client and HSE procedures
This role involves regular travel, field‑based work and occasional overnight stays. A company vehicle is provided.
