Our Isle of Wight centre is a recent acquisition, giving you the chance to help shape the Gardening Sundries department and make a real mark as the store continues to evolve.
Your Role
- As Garden Retail Supervisor, you'll take ownership of the Gardening Sundries department, ensuring products are well presented, stock is organised, and customers can easily find what they're looking for.
- You'll support ordering, merchandising and product availability, while helping to build standards and processes within a department that has huge potential for development.
- This is a busy, hands‐on role where your initiative, commercial awareness and confidence on the shop floor will play a key part in the centre's continued transformation.
What We're Looking For
- Retail experience, ideally within a garden centre, DIY, home improvement or similar environment
- Strong people skills with the ability to motivate and guide a small team
- A good understanding of gardening products, tools, sundries and seasonal ranges
- Organised, proactive and able to maintain excellent visual standards
- A customer‐focused approach, with the confidence to assist with queries and upsell where appropriate
