We are currently working with one of the UK's largest farming businesses, based in Lincolnshire, and our client is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a supportive finance team, where you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting core accounting processes.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be open to change and keen to be part of a growing and evolving business. They will bring a positive, proactive attitude to their work and consistently look for ways to improve processes and work more efficiently. They will be confident in challenging the norm and putting forward new ideas, while maintaining strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparing and posting accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
- Supporting reconciliations and financial reporting
- Providing general support to the wider finance team
Required
- AAT qualification (studying towards or completed)
- 5 years of experience in a finance or accounts role (preferred)
- Experience in an operational manufacturing environment
