A leading food manufacturer, dedicated to producing high-quality and innovative products is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hygiene Manager to join their team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the factory.

As the Hygiene Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective hygiene practices on site. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment, complying with BRC and customer requirements, and upholding their commitment to producing outstanding products.

The main responsibilities for this Hygiene Manager position include:

  • Develop and implement hygiene policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Conduct regular hygiene audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with production and quality control teams to integrate hygiene practices into daily operations.
  • Manage and lead a team of hygiene personnel, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure the team operates efficiently.
  • Oversee the selection and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and control hygiene-related budgets, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising on quality.

As the ideal candidate you will have experience of leading a Hygiene team within the food manufacturing sector, in depth knowledge of COSHH, HACCP and food safety regulations.
