As HR Business Partner, you will work closely with operational and senior leaders to drive people strategy and align HR priorities with wider commercial goals. The business needs someone with presence and confidence, a partner who can challenge, influence and lead with credibility at every level. This is not a role for someone who prefers to stay in the weeds of ER cases or disciplinaries; it’s about shaping culture, performance, and capability across the organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with operational leaders to deliver a proactive, strategic HR service.
- Lead and implement HR initiatives that drive engagement, capability, and business performance.
- Support the senior team in workforce planning, succession, and organisational design.
- Coach and influence leaders to develop their people leadership skills.
- Translate business needs into practical HR strategies and solutions.
- Contribute to the wider strategic direction of the business through data-driven insights and sound HR judgement.
Required:
- CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) is essential.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to link people initiatives to business outcomes.
- Gravitas and resilience, someone who can hold their own and challenge constructively.
- Ideally experience within the food, FMCG, or fresh produce sectors.
- A confident communicator with a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery when needed.
