We're recruiting for a Health & Safety Coordinator to support an experienced Group HSE Manager across a diverse business with sites located throughout the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on site, working with people at all levels and helping to create a positive safety culture.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Reviewing and updating risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Carrying out site inspections and safety audits
  • Identifying hazards and assessing risks across operational environments
  • Supporting managers and employees with Health & Safety queries
  • Monitoring compliance activities and maintaining accurate records
  • Reviewing monthly site safety checklists and ensuring actions are completed
  • Investigating incidents, near misses and supporting corrective actions
  • Promoting a positive Health & Safety culture throughout the business
  • Supporting Health & Safety projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Acting as a visible and approachable point of contact on site

This is a hands-on role where you'll spend time out in operational areas, understanding activities first-hand and helping teams work safely and effectively.

  • Experience within FMCG, logistics, transport, manufacturing, industrial, agriculture or farming environments
  • Understanding of risk assessments, audits and compliance processes
  • Experience working in environments involving machinery, vehicles or lone working activities
