We are currently working with a leading UK food manufacturer to recruit an ESG Coordinator. A newly created role that will play a pivotal part in embedding sustainability, governance, and social responsibility across a complex, high-performing operation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about driving real change in a business that's already making strides in carbon reduction, circular resource use, and community engagement.
As ESG Coordinator, you will work closely with the Head of ESG and cross-functional teams to:
- Support the delivery of the company's ESG strategy across multiple UK sites
- Track and report on key sustainability metrics (carbon, water, waste, biodiversity, etc.)
- Coordinate internal audits, certifications, and compliance with ESG frameworks
- Engage stakeholders across operations, supply chain, and HR to drive awareness and action
- Contribute to external reporting, including ESG disclosures and customer sustainability data
We are looking for someone who brings:
- 1 year practical/hands-on experience within an ESG, Sustainability or Environmental based position
- A strong understanding of ESG principles, sustainability reporting, and environmental compliance
- Experience in a manufacturing, agri-food, or FMCG environment (preferred)
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Familiarity with Scope 1, 2 & 3
