I'm currently working with a well-established agricultural business to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join their long-standing, close-knit team. This is a hands-on role within a company known for its exceptional culture and employee retention, the average length of service is over 30 years! This position does not require any qualifications however maintenance experience is a must!
The Role
This position plays a key part in the seed supply chain, supporting growers across the region. Responsibilities include:
- Operating seed cleaning lines to process a variety of seed types to agreed quality standards
- Maintaining excellent levels of cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination between seed species and varieties
- Recalibrating, servicing, and maintaining machinery to ensure optimal performance (full training provided)
- Supporting seed treatment and bagging processes
- Being flexible and adaptable to seasonal and business demands
