We\’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Grower to join a leading soft fruit producer. You\’ll play a key role in supporting the growing and harvesting of raspberries and blueberries – working with a dedicated team and learning all the ins and outs of large-scale fruit production. This is a brilliant opportunity to build a long-term career in the fresh produce industry.

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Getting hands-on with growing jobs: tunnel construction, crop husbandry, maintenance, and new growing projects
  • Supporting and monitoring crop production from planting to harvest
  • Coordinating day-to-day logistics for seasonal work teams
  • Training and guiding supervisors and seasonal staff to deliver high-quality results
  • Running inductions for new employees and keeping everything on track with accurate records
  • Monitoring health & safety across operations
  • Stepping in to cover Harvest Assistant duties when needed

What We\’re Looking For

  • A practical, hands‑on approach with good problem‑solving skills
  • Organised and able to plan ahead (especially in busy harvest season)
  • Confidence in managing and motivating people
  • Willingness to learn and a real passion for fresh produce
  • Experience in fruit growing/harvest would be an advantage
  • A full, clean driving licence and long‑term right to work in the UK
