Role Description We are looking for a talented and versatile Video Editor & Videographer to join our team. This role will require someone who excels in both shooting and editing high-quality long form video content. You will work on a variety of projects, from promotional videos to vlogs, social media content, and more. The ideal candidate will be skilled in video production, have a strong eye for detail, and be passionate about bringing stories to life through both filming and post-production editing. Core Responsibilities Long Form Videography: Shoot and capture high-quality video content for a range of projects including promotional videos, interviews, tutorials, events, and social media content. Operate cameras, lighting, sound equipment, and other production tools when required to ensure visually stunning and technically flawless footage. Collaborate with creative teams to plan and execute video shoots, ensuring all aspects of production align with the vision and goals. Set up and adjust lighting, sound, and camera settings to create the desired atmosphere and aesthetic for each project. Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Incorporate transitions, effects, music, graphics, and sound design to enhance the narrative and overall viewer experience. Maintain consistency in style, tone, and brand messaging across all video projects. Work with motion graphics and other post-production techniques to add visual elements when necessary. Manage multiple video editing and production projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining quality. Ensure all video content meets technical standards, including colour grading, sound mixing, and resolution. Skills Required Proven experience as a videographer, video editor, or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your video editing and shooting abilities. Proficiency with video production equipment (cameras, lighting, microphones) and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Strong understanding of video composition, colour grading, sound design, and motion graphics. Strong attention to detail and creative vision. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing needs or feedback. Experience with advanced video effects, motion graphics, or animation. Familiarity with sound design, mixing, and audio editing.
