Role summary

We’re looking to hire an Account Manager who has a real passion for marketing. The role involves managing clients and projects end-to-end, developing strong client relationships, collaborating with internal and external creative teams and identifying growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of 4 to 5 accounts (clients) and being their main point of contact – this involves regular meetings, briefing calls, sending action reports and building a strong rapport with your clients
  • Developing a full understanding of your clients’ services to be able to add value to their marketing activity as their account manager, and grow their account
  • Overseeing the execution of your projects and collaborating with internal and external creative teams to deliver projects within timeframes
  • Monitoring campaign and project performance
  • Keeping your senior management within the agency up to date with your clients and projects on a weekly basis
  • Discussing growth and new business opportunities with senior management within the agency on a monthly basis
  • Ensure time sheets and project management system is up to date every week

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience working in a marketing agency or similar work environment
  • Demonstrate experience in overseeing end-to-end campaigns or projects
  • Strong organisation and project management skills, with the ability to juggle lots of balls
  • Have clear communication skills, with strong copywriting skills as a bonus
  • Demonstrate knowledge of marketing skills and trends either through a degree in the field, or through your experience
  • Can easily get your head around complex products or do desk research as required – be honest if you don’t know everything, but it take the initiative to become an expert in the things you’re asked to manage
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • An eagerness and curiousity to learn and grow
  • A bonus if you are interested in finance (and able to write about it)
