The role We’re looking for a compassionate and practical Bioservices Technician to join our Bioservices team at the Moredun Group. This is a hands-on role working primarily with farm livestock, requiring prior practical experience in agricultural animal care. You’ll work with a range of animals and equipment. This role offers a strong focus on learning and development, with hands-on training involving a variety of agricultural animals and machinery. This is a full-time position; however, part-time applications will also be considered. Salary : £25,949 (additional payments apply for on-call duties and overtime) Role requirements Providing daily care, feeding and cleaning for a range of animal species Monitoring animal health and welfare, recognising signs of illness or distress Maintaining clean, safe and appropriate animal accommodation Supporting scientific procedures in line with approved protocols Keeping accurate records and supporting high standards of biosecurity Using and maintaining equipment and machinery (training provided) You’ll work under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act, with full training and support provided.
