The Governors of Morecambe Bay Community Primary School are seeking a committed and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated pupil support team. This is a key role in improving outcomes for our most vulnerable pupils and ensuring every child thrives both academically and emotionally.
Working as part of the pupil support team you will support teaching and learning alongside wider pastoral provision. The role includes planning and delivering targeted interventions, supporting behaviour and working closely with children and families to remove barriers to learning (including attendance). You will be a visible and trusted adult for pupils, acting as the first line of support and championing inclusion across school.

You will:
- Have HLTA status or relevant Level 3 qualification (Level 4 desirable)
- Have experience working with children including those with additional needs or challenging behaviour
- Be skilled in building positive relationships with pupils and families

- Be able to plan, deliver and evaluate targeted interventions
- Be resilient, flexible and committed to inclusion
- Have a secure understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
