Are you enthusiastic about working with young children but don’t yet have a formal childcare qualification? If so, we’d love to hear from you! More2Riverside has an exciting full‑time opportunity for a caring, committed Nursery Practitioner to join our baby room or toddler room team, supporting children under 2s or under 3s. This role does not require a childcare qualification, although previous experience working with young children (professionally or personally) is highly desirable. For the right candidate, we offer training to gain a Level 2 or Level 3 early years qualification.

Your Role
- Build strong bonds with your key children, acting as a key person after training.
- Support children’s learning through play, guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Contribute to planning, learning journeys, and daily routines.
- Create a nurturing, safe environment where each child can thrive.
- Work closely with parents and carers, updating them on children’s progress.

What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in working with children under 3
- Some previous experience (nursery, babysitting, nannying, volunteering etc.)
- A warm, supportive approach and a willingness to learn
- Keen to develop professionally in early years care
All successful applicants will have an enhanced DBS check carried out, must join the DBS update service and be able to supply two suitable references that confirm suitability to work and safeguard children. Failure to disclose any criminal convictions, allegations, police interviews or anything else relevant will result in instant dismissal/applicant disqualification. As well as complying with Ofsted and relevant laws, safeguarding of children in More2Riverside’s care is at the core of our organization.
