We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy and growing e-commerce operation in Slough. This is a temp to perm position and would suit someone with previous warehouse supervisory experience who is confident leading a small team whilst remaining operationally involved on the warehouse floor.

The Role

  • Leading and supporting a warehouse team of around 10 staff
  • Managing daily warehouse activities including goods in, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns
  • Ensuring orders are processed accurately and within deadlines
  • Supporting and improving warehouse procedures and efficiencies
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping
  • Training and supporting new starters
  • Assisting with stock control and operational issues when required
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a warehouse supervisory or team leader role
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using warehouse management systems
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Able to lead by example and motivate a team
  • FLT licence preferred
  • Dangerous goods certification advantageous but not essential
