We’re currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a reputable main dealership workshop based in the Worthing area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to work within a modern, well‑equipped service centre offering stability, manufacturer training, and genuine career progression.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out a full range of workshop duties — from routine servicing and repairs to MOT testing and diagnostics — ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work efficiently and accurately.
  • Perform MOT tests in line with DVSA standards (if qualified).
  • Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment and software.
  • Complete vehicle health checks and document findings.
  • Maintain accurate service records and adhere to all safety and compliance procedures.
  • Liaise with service advisors and workshop controllers to ensure effective workflow.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high workshop standards.
About You
  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Valid MOT Tester Licence is preferred but not essential if willing to train.
  • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician or similar role in a main dealer or independent garage.
  • Confident in diagnosing and repairing issues.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
