Join a growing and successful workshop team. We are recruiting for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join a busy and professional workshop in West Drayton. Working alongside an experienced team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing a modern fleet while benefiting from ongoing training and progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV vehicles.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Replace and repair components in line with manufacturer specifications and legislative requirements.
- Complete maintenance records and workshop documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Provide technical support and assistance when required.
- Fully qualified HGV Mechanic (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Previous experience maintaining and repairing HGV vehicles.
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
- Full UK Driving Licence essential.
- HGV or PSV Licence desirable.
- Excellent package: £22.00 – £23.00 per hour; £56,000 – £58,000 annual salary.
- Monday to Friday working pattern; Saturday rota available.
