The Quality Inspector role is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week on a sociable daytime shift, offering an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing organisation with genuine long-term prospects. This opportunity is with a leading multinational vehicle conversion company, renowned for delivering high-quality specialist vehicle solutions across the UK.
The Quality Inspector role is based in Appleton Thorn, Warrington, which is easily accessible from the surrounding motorways. The role is responsible for carrying out final quality inspections on completed vehicle conversions, identifying and rectifying defects to ensure each vehicle meets quality, safety and customer standards before delivery. Working closely with the production team, you will help maintain high build standards and ensure vehicles are compliant, ready for the next stage, and fit for customer use.
Key duties of the Quality Inspector role:
- Ensure all conversions have been done to the correct quality standard: inspection of the flooring, side panels, racking etc.
- Move and park vehicles safely around site (occasionally).
- Complete paperwork and relevant documentation.
- Record and report defects, damage or discrepancies.
- Ensure vehicles are prepared for the next stage of the process.
