Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join us. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands‑on experience with a variety of makes and models. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

  • Diagnosing, repairing and road testing a wide range of vehicles.
  • Troubleshooting and problem‑solving mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and alignment.
  • Utilising diagnostic tools to identify and address vehicle faults accurately.
  • Ensuring all repairs and maintenance meet or exceed manufacturer and industry standards.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle issues, repair status, and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • IMI level 3 in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving licence – held for at least 1 year.
  • Ideally an MOT licence for class 4 testing – but we would cover the right applicant as part of their development in gaining tester qualifications.
  • Cleanliness and an eye for detail are qualities we’re looking for too.
  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
