Automotive Repair Systems Ltd is one of the largest independent Mobile SMART Repair companies in the UK with a fleet of over 140 mobile technicians. Due to our structured expansion programme, we are now recruiting additional Mobile Paint SMART Repair Technicians across the country.
The successful Cosmetic SMART Repair Technician(s) will provide Mobile SMART Paint Repair services to our Dealership Partners within Southampton and the nearby area, thus offering excellent earning potential. A successful Mobile Paint/SMART Repair Technician is expected to have a valid UK driving licence, be physically fit, well presented, friendly, customer‑focused and most importantly work to a high standard. Successful applicants should expect to work Monday to Friday.
Additional Requirements- A self‑motivated individual able to work on their own initiative
- Preferably 3–4 years' paint experience (preferably ATA/IMI/QAA and working to PAS 125 formats)
- Good knowledge and application of fillers preferred
- Able to paint up to 2 vertical panels and blend
- Great attention to detail
- Has been customer facing in former roles
- Good command of Maths and English required
- Prepared to travel on a daily basis
- Able to be flexible with hours as our customers require
- Good time keeper
Prospective applicants would be expected to complete a paint assessment and interview before any offer is made, and following this, depending on previous experience, further training and product transitioning will be offered to understand our procedures and processes.
Salary and Benefits£34,176 rising with service up to £43,050 (inclusive of annual tool allowance). £55,000 – £65,000 base, plus up to 20% shift premium. All travel expenses to come and see us for your assessment will be fully refunded. We look forward to hearing from you.
