We're looking for skilled and motivated HGV Technicians to join our Sheffield-based workshop on a permanent basis.

You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability and compliance of a modern fleet of commercial vehicles, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
- Interpret instructions from job cards and repair orders, completing all work accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, defect reporting and MOT preparation.
- Accurately record work completed, tests carried out and parts used.
- Immediately report any additional work required or vehicle faults identified.
- Maintain allocated work areas in a clean, safe and tidy condition.
- Attend training courses and stay up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and manufacturer updates.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and health and safety standards.
- Enhance the reputation of the business through professional workmanship and customer service.
About You
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repair techniques.
- A Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
