The MOT Tester will be based in our Mechanical Services Division in Ringmer on a salary of up to £38,000 per annum. You will have a vehicle mechanics background and be qualified to test Class 4 vehicles; training will be provided for class 1, 2, 5 and 7 vehicles thereafter.
Main Responsibilities:
- Strictly adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures within a vehicle mechanics environment, including use of appropriate protective clothing and PPE.
- Ensure that all MOT testing is carried out within our responsibility and undertake MOTs with full regard for the safety of visitors, other members of staff and yourself.
- Process Warranty Claims and when required, update job cards on the company Fleet Plan.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified to test Class 4 vehicles and training will be provided for 1, 2, 5 and 7 vehicles.
- Hold a MOT Tester Certificate.
- Good knowledge of Vehicles Mechanics.
- Ability to communicate well with customers, colleagues and the management team.
- Awareness of health and safety.
