The Role: We’re seeking an experienced manufacturing professional to lead the development and improvement of our production processes. Working closely with engineering, quality, and production teams, you’ll play a key role in turning new motorcycle designs into practical, efficient manufacturing solutions while supporting the introduction of new models. As well as driving process improvements and operational performance, you’ll lead and develop a team of specialists, ensuring our manufacturing operations remain safe, efficient, and aligned with our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation for production teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to translate new motorcycle designs into manufacturable processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle times, minimise waste, and optimise resource utilisation.
- Evaluate production technologies and recommend new equipment or methods to improve efficiency and quality.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of process engineers and manufacturing specialists.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to foster a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Support cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, and supply chain teams to achieve operational goals.
- Implement lean manufacturing methodologies, Six Sigma principles, and continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
- Monitor key operational and process metrics to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate problem-solving and root cause analysis for process-related production issues.
- Support the introduction of new motorcycle models by defining robust, scalable manufacturing processes.
- Ensure manufacturing readiness through process validation, resource planning, and operator training.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate manufacturability and efficiency considerations early in product development.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture across all process engineering activities.
- Ensure all processes comply with the internal quality management system, ISO standards, and relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in process engineering or manufacturing management within automotive, motorcycle, or precision engineering environments.
- Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to optimise complex manufacturing processes.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable:
- Experience in premium or performance vehicle manufacturing.
- Knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and digital manufacturing systems.
- Passion for motorcycles or the automotive industry.
