Role
Optima is looking for a skilled CNC Miller Machinist/Programmer to join our Precision Manufacturing client based in Portsmouth. The CNC Machinist/Programmer will be responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine, and maintaining equipment and supplies for a highly reputable company.
Qualifications
- Experience with 5‑axis machining
- Experience with Heidenhain control system
- Programming skills preferred (Hypermill)
- Self‑motivated and driven
- High attention to detail
- Ability to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
- Good communication skills
